Hi guys

I am new to the forum but *gasp* I do not have an RSV but I have just taken possession Falco. Hey its a mille engine though, and sounds like the world has ended :pirate. (the eagle eyed will notice she has a mille swing arm, and actually shock as well)

Anyway a big hello to everyone :eatcorn

I have attached a picture of my baby (well the falco one)

I am from Glasgow, I also have a CBR1000F (for my 60 mile round trip all year round commute to work) and a 1100 Virago (my first bike, and still a good summer tool, bike can carry so much luggage and shrugs off weight of two people with loads of torc, for trips around Scotland with wife on back). I have also owned a variaty of Japanesse bikes (XTZ750, FZR 600, CBR 600 etc.), actually Falco is my first non Yamaha/Honda machine.

Anyway I am rambling now.

Welcome to the Zone mate

Ride looks sweet. :thumbup

It's an Aprilia mate, doesn't matter that its not an RSV :devious, we'll soon convert you though :lol:lol:lol Welcome to the site bud :thumbup

Welcome indeed,, sound like you have a small bike franchise in your garage.
I`m uoto 18 bikes in total however, most of them are 1:12 scale!

Might be sending you a pm and requesting some slice to be sent over the wall!:devious

Enjoy the site:thumbup

Welcome to the forum fella, dont matter what ya ride, everyones welcome :thumbup

Welcome fella, good to see another jock on board, very good bike a Falco, underrated IMO:thumbup

Would be interested to hear your opinions of the Falco. I'm curently going through the "lusting after an RSV as a replacement for my VFR750", but have pretty much come to the conclusion that I couldn't justify the extra capability of the RSV. I've looked at the Falco before and it seems to be a pretty undrated bike - more 'practical' option over the RSV I think - but what do you reckon?
Would you consider it reasonable for pillion, decent enough for a daily commute etc? I'm sure as a capable & exciting bike for fast rides & track stuff etc it ticks those boxes alright though.
I'm now probably gonna get banned for dissing the RSV, but that's not what I meant:devious

Nice Falco by the way:thumbup

Hello Renevator, Another Shropshire boy!:thumbup

Yep, but on a VFR, so maybe that doesn't count:dunno:biggrin
You can catch me everyday on my commute between Shrewsbury & Oswestry..........and yes, I do mean catch me (seeing as you've got an advantage:nana):thumbup

Thanks for welcome everyone

Renevator..... falco over vfr.... falco is alot more uncomfortable. I am a fat b****d so its a bit of a tight fit me on the falco. I think I will be putting a double bubble on it and bar raisers, then it will be good for distance, its the engine that makes it.

As for power and useability of the engine, its YUMMY.... it just seems to keep going and going and pulling and pulling. Low gears seem to run out of puff quicker than CBR but pull quicker as well if that makes sense. Also sounds better than any bike I have ever heard, but thats the mille engine for you. I did sit on a RSV-R at scottish motorshow, but its just too uncomfortable for me.

Pillion. Actually if your both thin it looks like it would be good, pillion seat is not a postage stamp. My GF won't come on it with me, she likes ones I cannot throw her off the back. (So CBR with givi box or virago with backrest)
