Evening all,

Been a Mille owner for over 8 years now, and I wouldn't ride anything else.
I had a 2000 W plate that I had for 8 years - I rebuilt it, resprayed it, and it was a one-off black beauty, until about 6 weeks ago it decided its time on this earth was up and just burst into flames - scorching my girlfriend's arse in the process!!!
So that was that, I got the insurance payout (robbing fits gave me feck-all!!!) and 2 weeks ago picked up my 2003 RSV-R. Absolutely love it, so much quicker and lighter than the early Mille.

I'm down in Gosport, Hants, and if there are any similarly minded owners who meet in the area I'd like to hook up and go riding out etc.

Got my first trackday on it booked already - 20th October at Cadwell. Can't wait!!!

Hi mate, I wasn't planning on going to Brighton as I didn't know anything about it - what's happening down there?
I'm probably going to be away this weekend.

Just looked at the link. Shame I didn't know anything about it or I probably would have gone.
Do you get out on yours much around here?

I go out most weekend's with a group of people, normally just go and see where we end up. We either meet at Micks burgers or the Alma.

Well if it's ok with you and your mates I'd like to tag along one day and just meet some new people. I don't really know many people down here, and if I go out for a ride I usually stop at Loomies and end up a bit of a Billy no-mates ha ha!!!

Welcome .

Hi ive not been a member long and well welcome buddy ive also got 03 rsv love it to . Im in dorset and would love to hook up anytime poole quay next year is usually good but certainly keep in touch best regards Mike .

P.s Think ya missis should get rid of the B.S.A bloody scorched arse and get an R.S.V really sexy vehicle....

Well I sorted that particular problem - the new one's got such a massive exhaust on it the rear footpegs don't fit, so she can't go on the back of it!!!
I don't know Poole, was down in Dorset a couple of times in the summer - around Bridport, Weymouth and Lyme Regis, brilliant roads in your area.

I don't know if its standard, but it's got a back seat pad.
I got the original exhaust and rear pegs when I bought it, and unless
someone's spent lots of money on radial onlins and carbon fibre
I'm pretty sure it's a genuine R. I think the Haga and possibly the
Edwards reps were single seat subframes.

I was asking because the 2000 r didnt come with one as standard, i wasnt sure what yr aprilia started putting 2 up subframes on as standard. On the R models that is....

Wasnt questioning whether it was an R model or not :)

It's cool, but you got me thinking I might have bought a pup!!!
To be honest I didn't know they did single seaters at all so it was news to me.
