new front boot

just got a new 2ct front tyre & wow, what a difference to the handling, i bought the bike with the 2ct front tyre on it's way out any way but didn't think it would make that much difference.
i got the tyre fitted by my local watling tyres & being real lazy i paid them the take the wheel of the bike then just checked the torque settings when i got home. glad to say they were all ok & the tyre pressure was good too:thumbup

while ring around for prices i rang another watling tyres in the next town & they wanted another £7 for the same tyre:confused

Was the old one as bald as Harry Hills heed?

I just put a new 2CT rear on mine, the front has only done about 3K and is just scrubbed in nicely. As soon as Griff has fettled the sussy I hope it will be a different beastie.:thumbup

not quite that bald but not far off

not meaning to be picky viper but isn't your avater more like a rattle snake:confused, just an observation:devious:lol

Rattlesnake, also called rattler, venomous snake characterized by a horny rattle at the tip of the tail, which is shaken vigorously to warn off intruders. Rattlesnakes are members of a larger family of poisonous snakes called pit vipers. Pit vipers have heat-sensitive pits on the sides of their heads that help them detect warm-blooded prey.

Rattlesnakes are found from southern Canada to northern Argentina and Uruguay. In the United States, they occur in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, and Delaware. Mexico, in the middle of the rattlesnake’s range, is home to the greatest number of rattlesnake species. Only a few species live in Central and South America.

As cold-blooded animals whose body temperature depends on their surrounding environment, rattlesnakes prefer mainly hot, dry locations, such as grassy plains, sand hills, deserts, and brushy or rocky hillsides. They are found from sea level to about 4,420 m (14,500 ft). Rattlesnakes are especially common in areas with abundant rodents, their favorite form of prey.

Physical Characteristics

Rattlesnakes vary widely in size. The pygmy rattlesnake rarely reaches 0.6 m (2 ft) in length and 113 g (4 oz) in weight. The largest rattlesnake is the eastern diamondback, which can grow to just under 2.5 m (8 ft) and weigh 9 kg (20 lb).
