I’ve just traded my 1050 speed triple for a 15 plate 1200 Caponord. This is my 2nd Aprilia, the first being a RSV MIllie. Great bike but the riding position was to extreme for longer rides unless you averaged over 100mph to relieve your wrists!
Although having had 40+ bikes in my lifetime this will be the first with all the electronic gizmos! I’ll admit to being baffled at first during the test ride but now hoping I’ve got a few things sussed. The speed triple was/is a great bike, especially the 1050 engine but not great for bigger trips although it handled a trip around the Scottish highlands a few weeks back ok for a naked. The aprilia will be far better suited to such trips especially with it being the TP.
Picking it up next week, so I maybe firing a few questions this way soon.
