New EU Bike Regulations

Are we all looking forward to the new proposed EU bike regulations?

From what little I understand so far, we will all have to wear Hi Vis of some sort, No bike modifcations and bikes can be stopped more easily for checks by the roadside.

There seems to have been a few 45mph motorway slow downs by bikers of late.

wow i had no idea about this.. its a complete farce
do they restrict cars or the modification of cars... no.... not very much anyway

if this goes through i suspect a visit to downing street with no exhaust cans on is in order

His vis is already law in Ireland.

You can't even use sat nav/phone connected via bluetooth etc in Spain now as they have banned any form of headset whilst driving any form of vehicle. They still don't have an issue with you tearing round like a loony though.

lol, thats why we take the piss on europes fine roads every year, even been waved on my bike coppers whilst sat in rain at 120mph on way back from le mans

I don't want to get too political here, but where will it all end?

I ride my bike to be free from everything, time away from work, the kids and to gather with like minded people with the same interests.

Will the joys of the odd modification and a few hours of freedom be under threat now?

Fcuk the lot of them, lets all get two stoke 250's with microns and meet up at industrial estates on Saturday nights. Wonder what happened to my old X7 .

Don't go to Ireland it is too expensive and *****, the west coast and the north of Scotland is the place to go; no plod, traffic or euros. Just excellent tarmac and crazy drivers in royal mail transits. (nearly forgot to mention a million and 1 GS's.......)
