I need to replace my chain and have had a look at B&C Express who want £98 odd for a 108 link 525 Tsubaki X Ring chain.
I had a quick trawl on the web and found it for £90 inc delivery but does anyone know of a cheaper place to get one from?

Hmmm, O ring at £57 or X ring at £88. If it were your bike what would you do? Is the X ring worth the extra?

I'd say no buddy as long as you look after it........go for the "o"..............:thumbup

The "Ape" will eat budget chains, quite simply DONT fit a budget chain.

Theres 3 maybe 4 things that you should never scrimp on, and quality chains/sprockets is one of them.

I have a Renthal chain on mine, lube it every 3 to 4 rides and in 2000 miles it hasnt stretched at all.

The only down side to the Tsubaki/Renthal chains is they dont have a "soft" link, you will need something link a "Whale" tool (oooh err) to set the link.

I brought a cheap chain for the old mille and every week I was adjusting the wheel, its something that I learnt the hard way about. Pay that little bit more for a good chain mate

Went for a DID X ring in the end. £88 delivered. My sprockets are almost new (less than 500 miles) so no need to change them.
