Boys, just bought a can for my 03 RSV, its been de-ristricted before (the ECU wire is cut etc..)

Will I need a Power Commander or will the ECU sort out the running itself ? I wont be thrashing the bike but dont want to cause issues where It can run lean

i think as long as its set to map2 youre ok mate.i chop and change between 2 race cans on mine and it runs perfect with either, and i have no pc3.
someone more technical may know different mate,if it was me,id stick it on and enjoy the luvly noise.

Its a Carbon Can Company fully Titanium Race job weighs much less than a kg ......
I could not believe the weight of the Aprilia one... As much as a small child

lol,true.
ive just refitted my aprilia titanium racing can,it looks heavy and big,but it weighs fook all, much lighter than my blueflame race can,i love the looks of it and it sounds amazing, much better than most aftermarket race cans.

the aprilia Ti can is a well specced item. Unlike theboat anchor we used to get, I defo noticed the diff when i got rid of that behemoth.(stopped leaning to one side)
PS-should be fine with the can, its usually full race or fullsystems that need some attention. The fueling will adjust itself to some degree.
cheers Ck

yeah, the aprilia ti seems very well made, and the link pipe going into it is a lot bigger bore than the one that came with the blueflame can.sounds very nice,a more deep bassy sound compared to the barky sound of the blueflame.
wernt they about £5/600 when new?!

No you wont need one. Ive got the a Carbon - Carbon Can Co on my '00 and my chip copes with it nae problem. Sounds good dont it?

yeah Bigun they were hideously expensive new, just like th eoe dustbin n the 98-03 RSv, I think the new price is 800 quid. and whats the first thing most peole do? take it off and ebay it fer 50 quid(if they can find a buyer)
The Aprilia Ti shotguns were really expensive too, they had a nice bark, but Ti?..**** must have ALOT init cos they weighed more than my full akra system.
ck

i may look for a cheap spare aprilia ti on the bay then.
£800 ffs?! jesus.my mate kept saying take it off,it looks huge, but i think its a handsome devil.lolreally like it tbh.

I know they really teke the piss. Try getting the dzuz fastener bits or the black screen pegs they are about 4 quid each. Robbing fcuwitz

they certainly know how to charge,i think we should all get a free v4 bike when they come out for how much weve been ripped off while owning these bikes.lol
