Hello all, Picked up my new (to me) RSVr last week and have spent that time getting to grips with the V twin thing. Liking it a lot so far so I thought I post a pic up. Already had a flick through the site and looks like loads of good info, even swatting up on the brown connector thing for when the temptation to take something apart thats working fine and bugger it up gets too much.

welcome mate

just do the connectors anyway . i had no probs but when i did mine they wouldnt come apart and i did mine when the bike was only 18 months old so i think probs were just around the corner ...

get some heat shrink and a soldering iron and go for it ,it only takes an hour and piece of mind is priceless mate ............

Hey Wavey,
welcome mate, there are some smart cookies on ere if ya ever get any trouble with her. Just ask and someone will help ya out mate. :thumbup

Thanks for the welcome, I'd love to make the ride out, gonna get the Burham run in crack o dawn then off to work for the morning (should have tried harder at school) and a mixture of hooning, WSB and BSB in the afternoon. Might even wash the bike (nahh that's what winters for) I'll deffo make one of them though so thanks for that.

Yep brown connector on the list, doesn't want to hold a charge so something's up.

Already had a good trawl and there's a ton of useful stuff on here and I've already picked up some pointers.

Well it all seems pretty civilised on here but I've got me pinch of salt ready, can't be any worse than 'Hooners'.

So thanks again.
