New Bike - water level?????

Hi all

Newbie question..... took the panels off my 08 rsvr yesterday and notice no water in the clear expansion tank!!! (the one with the max/min lines on it).

Bike was delivered late Dec 08 and has only done 250miles - should it be low on water?????

I take it all I need to do is top it up with water or antifreeze/coolant to between the lines

There is no sign of a leak. Any suggestions?

No fluid visible at all?
You're checking it cold right?
You'll need to top up with the recommended fluid but I'd be taking back to the dealer and pointing this out. My hard-thrashed 01 has used top mark to bottom mark (which is actually very little) in the past 6 months.

Hi mate I had this too, found the hose clips on the right and left in the fairing holes both leaking. At different times. Change them for some stainless clips. Cheers nice

Warranty jobby if the hoses are leaking. Common problom with the click fit ones, usuall on the right side for some reason.

Tried the warrenty not worth the bother for 2 clips. Mine leaked both sides in the end. Have done all clips now. Cheers
