Hi everyone...have had my Rally now for two months and loving it. Mine's a bit different as I didn't like the panniers that came with it so negotiated to have the travel pack panniers and top box instead. My dealer (A1 in Ringwood) even had them colour matched for me. Since I've had it I've added a givi screen (I'm tall,6'6"), centre stand, additional USB inside the fairing ( the under seat one is hopelessly out of reach) , heated grips and media module.
My partner loves the comfort in the pillion seat and I love the way it sounds when you spin her up above 5000! Ive done almost 2000km and have loved every second. I think my next mod will be on the riders seat as it tends to have a downward slope towards the front of the bike which becomes uncomfortable after a couple of hours in the saddle.

Hi BJ, one of the guys also had that funny bulge on the rear seat cut down. There is a photo on the 14-16 forum but it is probably too hard to find now. Anyway, it is worth doing as it will help you use all of the front seat and it still looks good!

If I can get on to the 14-16 forum I'll try and find the photo page......

Cheers

Ps, that Rally sure looks great with those colour matched panniers.......

Pps....sorry, the other(main) forum just won't load.....it may have a problem, this forum comes up in seconds, the other has been unavailable for a few days.......mysteries of modern science!

G'day BigJaype.......got on to the 014-16 forum and a very nice photo of a cropped rear seat pad can be viewed in the thread "what have you done to your Caponord today" on page 38........down the page a bit, posted by one SteveOh, who's Caponord I was lucky to ride when his had 20,000kms up and mine was a pup at 13,000kms. (have a look at page 36.....two rare red TP's in one pic).

A very worthwhile mod to do at the same time as levelling your front seat as it will give you full seat usage rather than that lump pushing you forward.......

Cheers mate.......hope you can swim.......been raining a lot eh? :(
