new bike...maybe???

considering raiding my credit card and part ex'ing my mille for something newer... wanna stay with a rsv as hooked on the aprillias, im thinking about 2k for my mille and 3k on the card, is it a case of getting the newest and lowest milage bike I can, or should there be certain models I should get over another? also what are the engine differences compared to what I have now (2000 mille) are the newer bikes 150bhp?

I do love my mille, and after a renagade air box, dr rossi chip, exhaust header mod, new sprag, barnett clutch etc its got to be worth upgrading for...would say a 55-06 plate rsv be that much better?

I don't think that power output on a gen 2 is anywhere near 150 rwhp.

yeah makes perfect sense, but arnt all bikes going that way? if u had 5k to spend on a bike what would you go for? im a little bord of jap bikes, not that they're not good, just all seem very simular, thats part of the reason I bought the mille...how sad is that? I can go through biketrader and nothing stands out to me, maybe a sp1 or 2 would be nice, but would like something new and clean...i dunno :(
 
sp1-2 have utter crap fuel economy ...my mate had one and got 17 mph ...,fuel tank range 80 miles if ya lucky ...newer rsv would be better ... can have mine for £ 4300 lol

pmsl! cant be that good if ur getting rid :p nah its gunna take some consideration, pointless getting myself in dept for something thats 'slightly' better than my mille...and i think thats arguable depending on which one you own lol...
 
You could stay with gen 1 but 'upgrade' to something more exotic like an Edwards. A real beauty sold on here a couple of months ago for 4K.

I think that's what I'd do if I had the money to spare.

ye was thinking about a 'r' at least but for the money id have to pay extra on top of my mille i dont think id notice any difference riding it down the road...might even be worse as i have a few mods...think ill have to keep my eyes open and test ride a few things and see how i feel..
