Hi everyone, I'm a new owner of a mint 07 plate tuono in blue and white with just 5k miles. Love the bike just one thing bothering me and that's the lumpy low end. it's got akrapovic cans but I'm sure it's still on map 1 so do I need to get it put onto map 2? If so how do I go about doing this??

You may not "need" Map 2, but you'll want it. I believe that's something a dealer needs to perform.

Do I need an aprilia dealer? Or can any dealer do it? Also is a power commander worth investing in? Thanks

I would think any dealer with an axone tool could change the mapping.

I have an 07' Tuono R with Leo Vince pipes and map 2. Map 2 made a huge difference but it is an torque monster that will lug a bit at low RPM's

My 2001 Mille did the same thing.

gearing will help up 2 rear , down 1 front

Map 2 is a must with akro,s . as is gearing it,ll make it a bit more town friendly. and an oberon or similar clutch slave will make life easier too .

and blue is the fastest colour too :thumbup

So anyone know where I can get it changed to map 2 in the north west area? And I totally agree blue ones are the fastest

find an aprilia dealer, if they are a solid shop will probably do it for free as it takes about 3 seconds.

also great reason to go for a longer ride if you don't have a local one.

I changed gearing to 15/43, like it so far
