Anyone got any solution to my neutral problem? When i stop at lights etc. its a real pig to find neutral, in fact most occasions it wont find it at all. If i try and find it whilst still moving & rolling to the lights i can find it, I also can if i hit the kill switch. why cant i when its running but stood still? :dunno

Have you changed the oil jet......look at the how to forum i put i post in there of what ya need ..... cost about £10

Make sure your chain tension is set correctly first, when they are set too slack neutral can be a right bar steward to find. :thumbup

Also worth seeing if bleeding your clutch will help, mine lets in air overtime and neutral becomes an issue then.

BB, it appears from all the replys etc. that the jet could take some time after ordering. Did anyone find a quick / easy supplier? Thanks

Did my jet mate made a big difference:thumbup

06 ONWARD HAD THE SMALLER JET AS STANDARD I THINK.........

jets are in stock mate! no worries gimme a call anytime and i'll bosh one in the post to ya!1
Dead easy to get hold of and to fit!
Cheers
griff

Thanks Griff, but got one the next day...:thumbup

Fitting it tomorrow night, ready for weekend and hopefully a bit of rest on the wristy's....

Much Appreciated Anyway..............

Griff .. I'm looking for an oil jet and rear brake heat shield for an 04 Mille . And MPL slave too . I'm in Dublin .. Can we arrange something ?

The newer type RSV en tuono's have the smaller jet as stock. that is the reason why the smaller jet excists, as a replacement part for the nwer engines.

In my experience 90% of all neutral/clutch drag problems are from air in the system. Many bleed the system but in the wrong way. The aprilia system is kind of a bitch to bleed properly.

Look at the AF1 forum under the technical section for a post by KZmille on how to bleed the bugger.:pirate

bleeding the clutch circuit is defo the best fix for the difficult clutch mate for sure, if its still difficult to get neutral then a clutchjet works a peach.....the smaller jets are fitted as standard in the 06 onwards bikes mate!!

if you need one dude just call me or zoe and we'll bosh one in the post no worries!!!

let us know!!!

Cheers
Griff

when Griff tuned my engine and took the slack out of my cables it made it a lot easier to get neutral!

Fitted the Jet yesterday, but not been out on her yet. Will give her a test on Saturday and report back the verdict.. Thanks..:dunno

Been out today after fitting the Jet40 and have found neutral easier. Still not perfect like a jap would be, but happy to live with what i have now versus what i had before. At least i can now rest my wrists at every lights which is all i wanted. Thanks Chaps...:thumbup

I have had the same issue finding neutral. I find downshifting into 1st thin an ever so slight pressure up to neutral. the odd time a quick tap back down to neutral from second when it skips.
What is an oil jet?

Hi mate, check out the 'Common Modifications Section' and look up the Neutral Thread. Full Expo...:thumbup
