Recently fitted 57 mm to my bike, started bike and ran up,rode for a few miles everything ok,ideled slightly fast, need to book in for dyno run and set up.Pulled the beast out today ,went to start nothing!!!!!

Bike has been on trickle charger so is fully charegd.
Turn ignition on can hear the noise.(whizzing) apolgies for poor description!!!!
Bike cranks over strongly but not firing.
Up till today was working fine, just cranks over .

dont know where to start.
The bike has a dataool 3 fitted all working arms and disarms.

Checked all fuel hose no leaks, didnt adjust tps sensor, left in set position.
Any advice really grateful as missed dyno slot!!!!!!!!!all connections on battery tight etc.

cheers murf.

fuses, plugs. I'd check for a spark if it's turning over then it should spark and catch? Ht leads on okay? Got petrol in tank?
My apologies for being basic but when my buses break down i start at the bottom and work my way up! Someone who actually knows what they're talking about will be along soon lol

Possibly flooded? They are a bitch to get going if they flood. This may have something to do with the correct set up of the 57mm throttle bodies. Crank the bike over with the throttle wide open and it should fire if this is the problem. Remember to shut off the throttle as soon as it fires though.

However, if the battery is getting week even though you say it's fully charged then this will cause the bike to crank slower than it should again causing more of a risk of flooding. This is also true if the starter solenoid is getting week. All older shape bikes should really be having the Yamaha starter solenoid upgrade by now if not already done. Usually this can be heard in a slight hesitation in the engine turning over when the stater button is pressed

All RSV's should start instantly from cold with the cold start lever fully open. If they don't then something is wrong, more than likely as i've mentioned above

Try diag for fault codes.
Check the injector connectors and all the connectors at the TB!

Cheers Alain
