My T is still causing me issues. Already spoken to Griff and he said try these two before you bring it up here. So here goes..

What Im after is a willing friendly person to let me take apart thier bike and borrow thier ECU to check that my ECU isn't fried.

First, watt is it doing? Watt are the symptoms? List the issues. A computer bike lands in the water 3 ways:

1. Is there a code? = Says the ECU is still good.
2. Does it run rough? = Says the ECU is going south.
3. Does it start at all? = Says the 3-amigos begin. Be as precise as possible. Name all mods. Name what Griff tried, etc. Name the last thing you did to the bike, as in a service, mod, let someone ride it and it started after that, etc. Who know?

if you need a ecu your looking at £1600 new i know as mine went bang in march .
had a look on ebay item number 0649420586 make sure part number ar same and a ecu off a rsv will not work on a tuono good luck mate
 
I have tired just about everything else, Even the Axxcitone thing didnt know. I have a P code of 0600.

I can't find anything to say what it is.

theres only a few things i havent tested being the continuity or the rear cylinder trigger line, and the ECU.

In short the rear cylinder isnt firing, no spark, no current through HT cable, (it has new coils) cylinders getting fuel+air. good compression.

2know: Im sure your very knowlageable, but you need to type in proper, not disjointed english please.


Even after talking to Griff and a few others on here.. (One had the exact same problems, for him it was his cam sensor I believe. Mines fine) sorry for the shortness, im getting fed up of having a 6K paper weight in the garage, and having another year of little riding.
 
Oh and yeah i know about the extorcinate prices and incompatiblites of the ECUs, cheers though :)
 
mate, your quite welcome to use my ecu, only trouble is your a bit far away ! can you trailer it here ?
If you look on the open forum under "fault codes " ( page 5 i think ) theres a list of problems linked to codes bot i cant see anything for p0600 !!

P0600 is in a 600 series, no? Something like that. A P0351/52's are your coil codes; if they drop out of the loop. You got a 600 P and that says the control unit, but again, a weird code may say phantom as stated in the FSM (factory service manual).

Watts wit Ape and a little organization here? Are they cutting up too much garlic is the problem? Not enough care an feeding of that bike quality. I didn't say that. You heard me Ape! Battery placement and blew out the "shelf life" seal on the battery = Garlic Red Sauce Engineering = No wear near Click Engineringay-Ding-Ding I'd put it there!

And a whole lot more. This is phantom work. Who knows without a better shop manual, meaning, match the dash to the book codesaps ya!

You want the 3-amigos for electrics. You want to clean up your "fuel+air. good compression" too, start telling me to clean up my act.

Didn't I ask some of you to bring in your other amigos if the 3 are not satisfactory to you. The CAN concept and all that. And here is one now. Are you sure there are 4?; Fuel+Spark+Compression+(Air????) Is not air the compression you be chasing the wind I see, no?

You tell me to do something and I cleaned up your abstract back down to 3wV. My concept is 3 variables in a wire. There is not connector out, wire out, input - output = / < Cut/disconnected/welded to ground 3 is the charm. Solid liquid gas and "air" Get your facts straight and fly right in it.

And I can't spell for beans, but knowledgeable is wit an e... Not wit a e. A, mate?

I am wondering if the T is as bulletproof as the mule bike. I'm getting and eyesore; of this bike having tons of problems or are there?

Ok so 2know has a unique scientific approach & perspective to problems, but like the guy says he been graciuos enough to try & help out here. YOu need to clean up your act, not me. I am laying out 3-amigos to the foundations of FI. You want me to ask the "Qualifier Question" to the house? See if you are qualified to speak? I probe. I look. I test. I stop, boy do I stop a lot. I give you a chinese proverb:

"No investigation, no right to speak." I think I am doing some expensive investigation on my own. I think I cannot reveal what die discovered is die with watt I know. If you knew these fundamental moves, I have no clue how you will figure this bike out any other way if you do not play with it.

:lolfuel-spark-air-compression does not ride well in the House of Zone. I zone right in on that **** so help me do not get the [3-amigos ~ 3wV = 6 with 20 more coming down your throat speak up you get it] wrong or you will ear plenty. This bike works only one way and not your 4-way-air-lingo. We on the same page yet? Don't mess wit me or I'll get you there is drag you bye the **** and now lift that shewanger and sea lap those nuts you call me nuts. :dunno
