Had a 1983 dr125 at 17 in 2003, bought my bro's kmx a year later, 86 pre restriction model fitted with kmx200 piston and pot (whuppd all other l plated riders ***** on that :biggrin ) passed direct access test at 21 on an er-5. Saved up and bought a k6 sv650s in june 08. Loved that bike, used to ride with an sp1, early r1 and k6 gsxr750... they could never shake me off, i was often leading the pack! After a year i longed for more power and so part exd the lil zuke in for the ape in july this year... never looked back! Don't really ride any faster than on the sv but where the former was being ***** to keep up, the mille does the same thing so effortlessly, as well as tracking in twisties like its on rails :thumbup

Passed my CBT when I was 16, but didnt have the money to finish it off or buy a bike! Passed my car test a year later and had use of my folks car so sort of kept putting it off, although dreaming of the day when I'd get around to owning a bike. Finally did it 3 years ago, and bought a GSXR 600 K2 which was a great bike to "learn" on! After plenty of hints my wife bought my RSV Factory a few months ago for my birthday! :)

Had a bike since i was 6 pouch 50 kx60 kx80 kx100 kx250 old yz490 rm500 maico490 maico250 kx500 done my test in 1998 gp100 gpx750 gsxr600 gsxr750 zx7r and know the beast rsv100 in silver fast as fu_k

Ok mine is a little brief lol. Passed my car test when i was 17. Always wanted a Bike but wasn't allowed as I was bad enough in a car, then I just never seemed to get round to it until 10 years later. First bike Honda 600 CBRF FY model, nice learning machine. So 2 1/2 years later I've just bought my second bike, 03 reg Mille R :D

passed my test at 22.

VFR 400 ( high sided on new rear tyre )
Srad 600
Ducati 748sps ( engine blew up dealer fixed it, sold it , it blew up again! )
Rsv mille R ( lowsided on a grave covered corner :jack )
srad 600 ( track bike ) Sold to fix above.
srad 750 ( track bike ) never ridden just sold it on.
Ducati 748 bp ( big bored 853 )

Who else started late? I always wanted a bike but could only afford it until after I got myself sorted. Anyway I passed in 02 at the age of 26.

First bike, GPZ900R (lot of work keeping it on the road)
2. ZZR1100C3 (loved it)
3. ZZR1100D2 (loved it more)
4. 1985 VMAX (not sure I would have got it if I knew how much work owning an old bike would be. But when it works its great still riding it now.)
5. 2001 RSVR (never knew bikes could be this good. Best handling bike I have ever known. Would love to know what modern bikes feel like, still might find out in 8 or 9 years.)

Started on CBt at 19, passed my test at 21.

2001 Cagiva Raptor 125 (blew this up twice)
2002 Peugeot Speedfight 2
2001 Aprilia SR125

learned how to ride on my dads xj600n :doug aged 14
passed cbt at 16 in 2002 and got an aprilia rs50 :biggrin
did direct access restricted licence aged 17 but was limited to 33bhp for 2 years and bought a '94 zzr600 off a m8 whod crashed it, restricted it and did alot of work tidying it up only to lose it on a gravel covered bend, highsided on the grass and smashed it up agen! :jack also broke my collar bone in the process!

bought myself an '03 cbr600rr when i was 19, had it restricted for 2 months and after that it came off and my full licence was available!! kept for about a year and a half did a few trackdays on it then sold due to doing car test.

next was an '06 gsxr600k6 when i was 21, sounded fookin mental with the racefit mega on it!:biggrin:biggrin

then saw my latest baby up for sale, sold the gsxr asap and bought the rsv factory you see now! the rsvr had always always been my dream bike untill the rsv factory came along and i knew i had to have one one day, and luckily this was in the colours ive always wanted and alot cheaper than a nera!!
also had the pleasure to ride many other bikes including my dads old zx9r c1 with 141 rwhp! was a very special and fookin fast bike!

1984 I started out on an R reg FS1E (proper one with pedals)
Then a brand new Kawasaki AR125.
Had a couple of field bikes - air cooled Suzuki TS125, DT125LC
Passed test on the AR in 1986, chopped it in against a new RD350YPVS F2 :devious
Passed driving test in 88, sold the F2 to get a car (Mk2 Escort) as I couldn't afford both.
Couple of years off bikes, then bought a cheap RD125LC to do up. Rode it around for a while, then sold it for double what I paid for it :devious
Lost track of the years / dates but have since had:
Standard RD250LC
Built a special RD350LC (still got it)
85 FZ750
86 FZ750
Bought back the standard RD250LC when it came up for sale locally
RD 350 YPVS LC2
89 FZR1000 EXUP (still got it)
Built an RG250 MK3 Yamagamma (still got it)
Bought the 2000 RSV Mille R in August last year :inlove

Always wanted a bike when I was younger but would probably have killed myself.

Took the direct access in 2000 and passed 1st time aged 35.

Suzuki RF900r (brand new) part exed it
Triumph T955i w plate bought in 2002 (fantastic bike) **** knocked me off it
Aprilia RSVR 05 (brand new) fookin hated it soz. It handled like a pig. Wrote it off but thats another story
CCM 604e supermoto (boring) sold it to fund the next bike
Aprilia RSVR 01 what a fantastic bike. It does everything I want it to do (well nearly ahem :devious) I can't see me ever selling it :thumbup

Most lusted after bike is the KTM RC8R :thumbup
