My new lid

Here it is then. Probably not everyone's cup of tea but I love it. Havn't had the chance to use it in anger yet, but the fit is spot on (not as tight as my AGV GP Tech, but then that's more of a track lid) and the quality seems good, nice removeable lining etc. The visor release is by far the easist I've ever used, real piece of piss. Overall it doesn't feel quite up to the quality of the AGV, but then that's a top of the range lid and cost twice as much. For what I paid for the Fireshark (£185 & £40 for the dark visor) I'm more than happy with it.

stix, reckon thats the one, his is black n white mind...i did think the bit that operates the inner visor was a bit fidley, mark seems to get on with it he reckons its ace, while im buggering about swaping visors doh lol

It is bloody fiddly. It's that little red bit on the corner for those who don't know. Fine with summer gloves, pain with winter ones!!

I've got an HJC lid with a flip-down sun visor. It was quite cheap and isn't a great fit so I only usually use it for short journeys around town etc. The flip-down visor is dead handy in changeable conditions, but overall I prefer to use a dark or iridium visor anway (tart, moi??) so with my other lids I carry a spare clear visor in case of a pull off the plod, or if I'm out later than expected and it starts to get dark.

Stix - nice lid :thumbup

Cheers Gilo I think it's fab.

Btw I like your new one too. Ghostrider springs to mind :thumbup

My fingers aren't like pig ****, but my glove size is large even though I don't think my hands are particularly big?

Don't get sizes at all. I'm 5'8" and 12.5 stone, but I have a large size lid/gloves and extra large RST Textile jacket?

For those peeps out there who are actually large what sizes are you in bike gear :confused

I'm 14 stone 7 to 15 stone and I take Large Jacket, 44 inch chest and Medium Helmet and Medium Gloves.
