Shes a minter :thumbup.. just hope i get her back very soon :pirate

It looks mint and its a nice colour black and red what mileage has it done Steve

Its done 14k with full service history and boy will it have some history when it has been rebuilt

it's a mystery to what went wrong with it have they found the anwser yet

Dont know as of yet cos the chief mechanic at honda whos got the bike in bits is in the big apple racing :dunno, ive spoke to him just before he went and he did say from working all the way down he did not see anything worn or broken :confused. He only suspects that a possible cure is to fit a thicker head gasket as the pistons may be just kissing the head as the bike warms up or something :confused. Never heard of that one but he did say that the bike will be totally rebuilt with new parts from bottom end up.

I think he will be back this monday so more news then :thumbup

Latest update :devious.

I phoned today and the garage have ordered new parts for the gearbox form aprilia :dunno so thats going to take a while eh . I never got to speak to the mechanic but i guess that was the problem :dunno.

Maybe another 6 weeks and ill have her back :bawling:bawling:bawling:banghead

Seems a long time but i guess they cant do it any quicker now that they have to wait for aprilia to deliver the parts :confused

Any decent place would have had this problem sorted and finished by now a good mechanic should be able to strip a bike down in less than a day so why does it take 6 weeks to find the bloody problem!

Guess thata honda mechanics for you, or hes doing as hes told to :dunno.Just hope he puts everything back the way it was :thumbup

They should have gone out & bought a minter and put your panels on....much cheaper & quicker!!!

I expect the gearbox was on its way out anyway :dunno, and with me giving it a bit of a going something broke that was going to . Im just glad it happened while its still under warranty :pirate.

Would i be wrong in saying that the geabox is fragile and cant take too much abuse :confused, that seems highly unlikely to me :confused.

Anyway thanks to all and im looking forward to picking it up as it will be just like xmas come early again :thumbup

Damn, I hope it works out well for you - and fast ! :)

a good dealer is worth a million :banghead

Thanks :thumbup, its going to take some getting use to again after being on the z12 for a while again and then back to the mille . Cant wait to get that phone call to say its ready and start riding the bike that i want ride :pirate
