My grips are painful

I bought a 2005 Tuono R about 3 months ago. Love it. What a monster!
BUT the stock grips are killing my hands. Really, I swear I'm not so sensitive and like to leave things stock but these seem insane commuting around Los Angeles.
Haven't found after market options. Any tips?

ALSO mirrors if you know any!! The stock are pretty small to see wide in the speedy traffic here.

Thanks

For grips a lot of people use Renthal (come in 3 compounds! I find medium lasts and is comfy) as for mirrors the ones from the new Tuono/Dorsoduro etc are a direct fit and can be bought new for about £13 so about ~$20?

Try and stop holding on too hard :). Have you thought of the pro grip stickers for the tank. Strange I know but it takes the pull off your hands. Also the newer shape tuono mirrors are lots better.

The standard grips on the Gen2 are way too hard too, so I changed mine to Renthal kevlar grips - nice and comfy and the colour (a kind of yellowy beige) goes well with my gold CRG levers :D

This was the first thing I chainged on my gen two , I allways fownd the grips on my gen one to skiny and hard , so I have fited the black and gray tow tone Motrax grips with twin compownds they werk grate antey vibe and a nice thick grip to get hold of with no effirt to hold them , so a relaxed hold on the bars allways .
