Sad to say I'm considering selling my RSVR. Most of my mates are selling bikes and or not going out very often..
I paid for a full year of insurance on the RSV this year in one hit and ive barely done 4/5 tanks so far..
I'm currently rebuilding a XR 250R 1997 green lane machine and keen on buying a super moto maybe KTM 525 exc or CRF 450 to go along side it.
Would love to keep the RSVR but I think the time has come.
I would be putting it back to **standard** before sale.
Anyone on here interested in it?
I live in portsmouth.
Its in good condition apart from a few touched up scratches on the rear wheel. Some of the front top fairing and rear fairing decals are missing (like that when I bought it).
It has 20k on the clock. Currently running 15/44 gearing.
Valve clearances were checked and adjusted around 6k ago. Currently has racetec k2's fitted. Rear is on its way out and front is good for a 1k miles or so. I have a spare set of scrubs ready to fit with plenty of tread that can go with the bike or if easier I could fit the rear ready for you.It also has the uprated starter solenoid and motobat battery fitted.
I replaced rear shock dogbone bearings around 5k ago and installed teflon washers.
Bike has been well looked after and I have done around 6k miles on it since owning it.
It has a forza chip and open airbox, early intake as well as edwards air tubes that I will leave on the bike. The exhaust will be standard. I will leave the black levers with gold adjusters and include the standard ones. I also have uprated the clutch slave.
It goes, stops and runs as it should.
Griff did the co2 and balancing on it last year.
Looking for £2600
Currently has the following goodies which will be removed and sold seperately.
- Full twin akra system with larger 60mm exits (much louder and nicer sounding than the akras that come with the replica bikes) Complete with carbon hangers and chain guide. £700
- Gilles gold rear sets. £150 In exchange for standard.
- Carbon tail light surround. £100
- Carbon seat hump. £100
If you are interested in it with all the goodies as per the photo below.. plus carbon hangers I would be looking for £3300 cash.
- I will not sell any of the goodies seperately until I have enough interest in the bike itself.
I am not in a rush to sell.. pm with any questions lads and lasses.
