If you're using microsoft office, you should have as part of that a programme called Microsoft office picture manager.
Go into start/all programmes/Microsoft/Microsoft office/Microsoft office tools – it will be in there.
Start up this programme and open the image from in there, or right click the image from windows explorer and select ‘open with’ and choose programme ‘picture manager’
Once open in pic mgr, on the top tabs select ‘picture/compress pictures’
You will then get a window on the right hand side giving you options.
Select compress for ‘web pages, or documents’ Try document first as this will be a larger better quality image.
IMPORTANT:……….save this compressed image as a copy, or rename it whatever you will. DO NOT save it as the original, as it will be compressed forever.
Failing that, download a programme called “Pix resizer” (just google for it & you’lll find it).
Very straightforward programme that one.
If all that is too complex ( I appreciate some folk just ain’t into computers ) email me the pic & I’ll send back a compressed version.

Hope that helps.
