Picked up Sunday, cleaned up Monday, wouldn't wouldn't start Tuesday ....Doh!!!!

Fixed the tail light and polished out scratches from its little accident when picking up ( cbr1000rr 07 side stand ordered) only to find it wouldn't start. Optimate overnight, plugs out for clean, faulty plug cap and loose battery connection later and all is well again although £27.99 for a new plug cap was a bit strong!.

My first pics taken today......

Thanks for comments! Sadly my new bike does not like starting so after pissing about with it for a couple of hours with my mate Paul who is naturaly gifted at fixing things, we gave up and decided we would let the professionals sort it out. Luckily we had something to gaze at lovingly as Saturday I had driven over to wheels in Peterborough with Paul to pick up his new bike.

No wonder he looks happy!

are you using the correct starting procedure...lots of people touch the throttle..its a no no

jsut use the choke /cold start lever

if the battery is anywhere not perfect you'll have issues...

Black mille doesn't start. In fairness it started fine when we picked it up but it did go on its side with a crash in the back of the van. It did start when we got it home but at best I would say reluctantly. I have bought a new battery and it is going to Twiggers in Loughborough in the back of the van this afternoon ( suitably strapped down ). They have sorted my bikes out in the past and are a Guzzi dealer so I trust they will sort it easily enough.
