Begining to really get on my tits, been out today and my eyes are killing me now. I have an Airoh force full face helmet and even though the visor is down, all vents closed and the draft extension wind skirt thing is in place near my chin I still get runny eyes. Been trying to google this to see if anyone else has had the same problem but nothing comes up (hardly belive I'm the only guy to suffer from this (or maybe I'm just a wimp). Any one on here had the same problem before? Any suggestions welcome.

Do you suffer from 'hay fever' can't see it been a problem at this time of year though, could you be 'alergic' to the helmet, try another lid, can't say i've had this problem myself.

My eyes do the same if i have to open my visor a little due to the cold air hitting your eyes. So i'm guessing you are gettng cold air up and into your helmet probably around your neck. (My shoei is super noisy from air getting in via the neck even with the chin guard.)

I use a neck sleeve even in the summer now and it blocks some of the air from getting up and into the helmet. It might help and they cost peanuts and has the added benefit of blocking bumble bees from splatting into your neck in the summer which hurts like buggery if your going fast enough.

Its just cold air getting to your eyes, I get it sometimes at this time of year

A draught straight in the eyeball chills it and it waters to protect itself

Cut the draught to sort it

Check the visor is fitting well to the seal

Shoie make the whisper kit which has a bigger windsheild, You need a helmet with a slot allround for it to push into [ Aria astro's and viper gt have this]

Thanks for the replies (should have thought this through before posting seeing some of the commets lol). Taped up the vents on the front today and wore a scarf so I could try and close the gap between the chinskirt and my neck. Did the trick, eyes were fine. Hell were they killing last night though - looked like I'd been on the piss for a month, totally bloodshot! Roll on summer I say!
