There are lots more photos as the guy taking them was at that corner and took about 15 shots in progressiom but did not want to fill the site with these as is ZX9R a little worse for wear now and a sprained ankle for the boy:eek:

Definately one for my album and his to realize just how it can go WRONG:eek:

The other guy must have been well miffed! Bad luck, always dread this happening to me, got my first one this yr on may 12th on gixer thou, never even ridden it before, infact never ridden a thou before! RSV has been in bits since I bought it so biggest bie Ive ridden really is a 600!

The red flags were out and I came round and his was the only green bike in our session and I came round saw the bike and my heart stropped then \i saw him stnding up talking to the medics I was was thinking what the hell he needs his bike for work and I hsve a lot of work to do:rant

The guy he was involved with now wants him to pay for repairs to his bike and my boy has no money and no way to get to work:puke

I have a bike to repair and he loved the bike hey **** happens:rant

I'm not being funny but the other guy should know if you do the trackday you run the risk of screwing yer bike, nevermind if it wasnt his fault, he should of taken out an insurance. glad to hear your lad isnt badly injured, I bet its hurt his pride more than anything.... hope you sort out his bike soon as....

Seconded. Isn't this why he had a trackbike and not his pride and Joy. The other guy can ram it. You play with the big boys long enough you're gonna get stung eventually.

That's like asking for compensation for bruises from boot studs when you play rugby.

Tell the other guy to ram it.

As a more important note I'm glad it looks a lot worse than it is and Your lad is OK. I've been there when a mate totalled his ZX-7R and my heart sank. He was only a mate. If it was my son god knows what I'd have done.

Tell him to poke it. you go to track you take your chances. Glad he's alright. Great photos!

sorry to hear mick but pleased hes ok

everyone signs a disclaimer when they do a trackday, its a risk ya run

Glad your lads ok, tell him that bloke to swim up his own alley for damages , where are the other photos mick? how is the bike looking ?

my lad was doin a championship motocross race last year, holeshot the race cross rutted around the first corner over the bars no problem untill the other 40 riders hit him!! nearly destroyed the bike. full titanium acro pipe £850, bars and levers £140, radiator £140, plastics & graphics £250, arai helmet smashed at the mouth piece £280, and a buckeled front wheel £100. and a broken nose. just put it down to a expensive racing incident. that photos superb.

Photographer was in the right place for those shots..aye, something for yer lad to look back on and reaffirm how it can go wrong. Very glad to hear he walked away with a few minors and a shake up. I also agree with the lads, you are on a race circuit and always at your own risks for body and machine, thems the breaks.
