Have you guys seen MV Agusta's answer to the Tuono... the new 2013 MV Agusta Rivale.

Looks like it's going to be 800cc... how do you think it will compare to the Tuono?

its defo a good looking bike and all the probs MV have had with previous models should be ironed out however its down to the old V twin v triple and IMO the V twins grunt will take some beating but the MV will probs match or be better in the handling stakes.

Ash the 1098 Brutale and the 800 rivale are two different beasts mate and different configurations so i think we may have to wait for a test ride

I think I prefer the look of the Brutale tho' :dunno

The way I look at it is, it's a new engine/chassis, so, it will likely take two years to iron out the fueling /handling/electronic bugs that seem to be inbuilt into their new models.

read a couple of reports on the 800 brutale and it seems they have ironed out a lot of problems already mate, heres hoping

I like the look of the 800 & reckon it will be a cracking ride. When it gets a bit warmer, a dodge to Newcastle may be in order to test ride one.

MV has always made crackin lookers, good handlers, and good engines when they go...

Is it a big V twin ?

NO.

so whats the point in trying to draw a comparison......

well i for one think the rivale looks proper boss, and they reckon the 800 mv triple motor is an absolute corker !!

I think Garry has a point. V twin v triple, not the same league for comparison?
Against the Street Triple - yes. Now there's a fun toy.

I went of for a test ride on a new 1050 speed and then the day I bought my "T" I took a 955i mint speedy out , I actually preferred the older 955 to the new 1050! But to be honest it took me all of 100 yards to realise that I wanted (no in fact NEEDED:drool) the V twin!!!
