I saw over the last couple of days that the much rumoured MV Agusta 675 triple has turned up and will apparently be on sale early next year. Furthermore BMW and Benelli are also supposedly developing 675 triple engined sports bikes for sale next year.
All interesting bikes in their own right BUT does this mean Aprilia will join the fray as this sector seems to be the fastest growing and where the money is right now. From an economic point of view it's probably going to be the area of the market that gets many companies through the recession.
However spending money at this time to develop a bike is risky but I can't help thinking that an RSVR 750 twin or a similar capacity would go down a treat and be a fantastic addition to the Aprilia range as well as a big seller. Plus I'd imagine Aprilia already have pretty much everything in place to put the bike into production in the not too distant future given that they have an excellent 750 twin engine in the Shiver that could no doubt be breathed on to make a more than suitable engine. I'd buy one.
RSVR750 twin - What do you think, likely to happen, would you buy one?
