Multi - bike insurance cover

Guys,
I am looking to add another bike onto my insurance policy with Carole Nash, on which I can add up to another 4 bikes. The additional bike is a bit special being either an Edwards or Haga replica, but not that much more so than my 08 Factory I would have thought!
Anyway this addition has been declined and although CN are looking at some other companies to see what they can do, I wondered what any of you who are 'more in the know' have done with this issue?

Any thoughts or ideas would be welcomed.
:confused

We have two bikes here and any broker I have asked to put them on one policy have either blanked my question or said I would not get a good deal

Which leads me to the fact we have two cars and two bikes

We cant ride or drive them all/both at one time but we have to have pollution tax[road tax] on each of them all the time

A household insurance or pollution tax would seem smarter but then they would not make as much money, *******s

Wouldnt touch CN with a barge pole, they are robbing tw**s :jack
I have 2 mates with multi bike policy and it costs them coppers for the 2nd bike, not sure what company but I will find out and re post. :biggrin

Hey Buddy

I have an MV Agusta, Eddy Rep and a Honda VFR on a multi Policy with MCE.
I am 34 years old (only recently) thou and last year I paid £350 full Comp with (NO VOLUNTARY EXCESS) Voluntary why give money away ?????
I have a London area code and I have also suffered a Bike Theft.

Think you will find MCE are the best motorcycle company around.

Regards

Jake

I agree with Jake. MCE will use a really small insurance company you will never have heard of and could never find, but they do all the fiddly bits so you just pay them. Carole Nash are pretty pants really. MCE have a rather good multi-bike policy, but you might end up finding it cheaper to insure everything seperatly, but still through them. I pay pittance to keep my cbr600 on the road, and little more to insure a 2000 RSVR, and I have points on my licence.
