Just wondered what sort of range you get ,i filled up my bike from empty yesterday 05 rsvr got £15 worth in only[ just got bike so not sure how far can get on reserve etc ] anyway light started coming on about 110/115 mls is this normal riding was mainly duel carriage way then some twisties thanks .

My best was 168 miles on 18ltrs (and it got me to a petrol station!). But that was crusing at 80mph on the motorway to and from work.
Riding mental I get about 90 miles to the fuel light, riding normally is about 120 till the light, motorways are about 130-140. The reserve if riding conservativly will easily give 30 miles.
Accoring to my clocks and fuel light on a 03 edwards.

Not had mine very long but both times I have put a tenner in I've got between 60-70 miles till the light comes on again.
I'm getting between 90-100 miles from full to light coming on. Have done up to 20 miles with fuel light on but not dared to go any further!
I'm sad enough to work out that I'm getting 30-31mpg! Slightly less than the 42-44mpg I used to get on my ZX6R!

When i did Donington the other week my fuel light came on just as we were heading out for the 20 min session. I wasnt hanging around either in the inters following an instructor for at least 15 mins of that time.
So full 20 mins at full chat around Donington and i never ran out of fuel on reserve - Brilliant
To answer your other question, 80-90 miles before the dreaded light comes on but if i fill up straight away then i can normally get around 13 litres in and its a 17 lt tank

On the twisties i manage about 100-115 miles before the fuel light starts to come on. That is using some good throttle action. When i fill her up she will drink around 14 litres at this point.
If i'm just cruising say around 90mph, my mille will go for 130 miles + before the light comes on and she will still only take 13-14 litres to fill her up.
I reckon, if i needed to, i could get around 160 miles out of a tank maybe a little more. :wow

Envious here don't get anything like that but am running 15:43 gearing.
From fill up to light coming on generally about 75-80 miles (not solid light - for that add c. 5 miles), can be into 90's if taking it steady.
Can be not much more than 70 miles if the mood and the roads are right:devious:devious

:bawling:bawling:bawling Filled mine up fri £16,50 and had a ride to east coast, fuel light came on near home on way back, so around 85 miles..Though do have a big sack of spuds n the back most of the time..
