Bournemouth here squire, just a stones throw down the road from Soton. Plenty of nice roads to choose from like the A272, all round the New Forest, the Purbecks, and into Wiltshire and deepest darkest Dooooorset :thumbup

Sure Gasboy probably has some roads for you too as he is down in Pompey.

Apart from the best football team in England you've also got some of the best roads.
One of my favourites is: Nip up the A36 (statistically Hampshire's most lethal road, so be careful) from Totton to Salisbury (I'm just north of here) then the (faaaast) A354 to Blandford (you can also divert from here up the B3081 'World's twistiest road' as decreed by Top Gear from Sixpenny Handley to Shaftesbury) then head North up the A350 to Shaftesbury - a mix of excellent twisties and 30mph villages - then take the old A30 (fast AND twisty) back to Salisbury.
There are lots of others around. I'd ride 'em with you but with kids and business my poor old Mille hardly gets off the Optimate at the moment.
The big biker meet (2,000 plus on summer nights, I've heard) is Poole Quay which is sponsored by the local tourist authority!
