Motus Motorcycles is back on the radar after their mysterious awakening back in April. Along with slightly less cryptic information about their MST V4 sport-tourer, Motus has announced their partnership with Pratt & Miller.

If you’re not familiar with Pratt & Miller, they’ve made quite a name for themselves in the automotive endurance racing scene developing chassis in the American Le Mans Series, Rolex Grand-Am series, NASCAR, and have won the 24 hours of Le Mans six times in the GT1 category. Pratt & Miller have*also worked with the US military in developing missiles and other classified projects.

For a young company starting out, partners can make or break the company’s success since it rests so heavily on their initial product offering, and it would appear that Motus is choosing to work with the best minds around them. “With their vast experience developing high performance, lightweight vehicles, we quickly identified Pratt & Miller as the perfect partner to engineer our lightweight, high-performance motorcycle,” said Brian Case, VP and Design Director of Motus Motorcycles.

The V4 powered MST will be Motus’ first motorcycle, which is aimed at the affluent sport-tourer market. The MST will have two variants, the MST-01 base model, and a higher-spec MST-R. Details are scarce on the MST, but we do know that it will feature*a balanced and optimized 4130 chromoly space frame, along with carbon composite bodywork.

Motus has yet to announce who they have partnered with to design and produce the engine, but it is rumored to have advanced endurance and reliability features. Although, we’ll have to wait and see how it stacks up against another certain V4 sport-tourer power plant.

More information as we get it, but considering that Motus still hasn’t gotten back to us after saying they would back in April, we’re not holding our breath.
