I haven't seen a thread on motorcycle locks yet and thought I'd get peoples opinions. I've read a lot about locking up your baby but much of it seems over the top depending on where you live. I read a lot about having he disk lock on the rear is one of the better ways to lock it up for a single lock. Anyone have any preferences on types or brands of locks?

And they cant even throw a cover on it to protect it from the elements... tisk tisk!

Chained down front and rear mate...that's the way forward! ...and a disc lock.

Those garage defenders are pretty good too!

I could do with a light and portable one for rides out and locking two bikes together/probably 2 front wheels....any recommendations?

Always try and lock through the frame.
Wheels can be removed.
Chains can be cut.

The thief wants to be in and clean away in minutes so to hold him up with any barrier is a plus , the more the better.

If they want it they will get it

I was reading about how only the bad thieves put them into there vans and drive away, and obviously leaving no slack when using a chain lock, and use a disc on the rear because the front is too easy to remove. also using a non name brand cover helps... to bad because those APRILIA covers are sexy!
