hello
i noticed i have some oil leakage from bottom where the oil filter is - probably the sealing is faulty or no sealing at all
and also both cylindera heads are dirty from the oil so it looks they do not seal optimally
can anybody tell me what sealings/parts do i have to replace if i take down the cylinder heads so i can order them
if you have an internet source for such an order please advice also as i am living in a country where the original parts are impossible to get

hello mate!!

im sure your problems are easily fixed ...
its not uncommon for the o ring that seals the oil filter cap to go flat after a time (part number AP0650500)

now the oil from the top end of the engine should also be a really easy fix, may i suggest that you take the cam covers off the engine clean them ,clean the rubber gaskets, reseat them into the covers using LM grease to help hold them in place while your refitting them!! hopefully an east fix and for free!!!

if you need any parts just let me know and i can supply and send them to you wherever you are in the world.......where is that by the way??

hope this helps??
Cheers

griff

do you have an advice how to clean the engine? the bike i own used to stand a lot of time out even during winter probably so the engine looks a bit oxided (or how to say it correctly if it has scratches of corroded aluminium/steel whatever it is)

There are a lot of "engine cleaning" products, s100 is a company that makes a lot of stuff for cleaning bikes. Or WD40 also works :), but if you clean the engine with that, the first time you start the motor it will smell a bit, but then it will be oke and clean.

You can probably get s100 products at you local auto parts shop.

I used that SDoc100 on my alloy bike parts and it was very good indeed.

You can get it on Fleabay too Click Me :thumbup
