'08 Tuono R has a problem when I down shift coming to a stop. The motor will abruptly quit. This happens when I go from 2nd. to 1st. gear, or to neutral. It acts exactly like the side stand cut off. Any suggestions?
i had exactly the same problem on a triumph speed trip i had a couple of years ago , turned out to be vacuum return hoses between throttle bodies and the air box .
rubber hoses were heat hardened and cracked , i replaced ,em with silcone hose at a quarter of the price of triumph parts .job done !!
so if i wre you i,d have a look under the tank .
