Just wondering if anyone has fitted a mosfet reg rec to a mille yet?

Reason I ask is it's a common upgrade for the TL1000R and a whole load of other bikes so wondered if it'd be of any use on an RSV, spesh if you get one with the loom and splice it past that damn connector with the correct waterproof connectors.
 
Yeah Mosfets have been done, a better fix though seems to be the Series reg/rect ...have a look around AF1 for more details.
 
I have the Mosfet FH012A on my bike for a year now and have had no issues what so ever, i'm even running a 10 amp battery !
Yes the series type would be an ultimate option but not such an easy fit (they could have changed by now of course).
 
Having a look at the series fit, seems to be an upgrade for the newer type of bikes. As I'm running an old bike 2000 reg, I think the Mosfet seems to be the way for cooler running / better waterproofing on the connectors / higher charging voltage for my gell battery
 
I think you can only get the series reg from USA
I put a mosfet in my gen 2 nearly 2 years ago ... runs fine but don't stop stators burning out :s
