Morning Everyone,
just calling in as recommended by someone from the Ridersite (Falco) forum.
I am not an RSV owner, yet, but am considering changing from my Falco or indeed adding to it and creating an Aprilia stable. (That's if "she who should be obeyed" agrees).

I have always loved the lines and styling of the RSV and I think its about time I owned one. I may turn one into a track day bike: either the Falco or maybe an RSV. What are your recommendation/views on that conundrum. Which one to keep for the road and which one for the track. I am not a track day addict (at present).

This looks like a good site and I am pleased to be here. M.

Welcome to the forum mate. :thumbup

My take on your situation is to buy yourself a Mille with tracking it in mind, as the RSV is essentially a race-bike anyway, whereas the Tuono is intended more for the road.........so why alter the starting points; use them as Mr Aprilia intended, and you have a good base to work from ! :biggrin

Hi Merlin,welcome ,
your right about this being a good site,I see it as must for any Aprilia owner.
I`ll let the guys that are into the track days answer your other query, but if you live up to your name you shouldn`t have any problem convincing"her indoors",that the Falco needs a stablemate

You mean signor Aprilia didn't intend for his RSV to be hooned around bringing beauty and joy to the great unwashed? :) Better track prep mine then :T

Cheers Dexter,
sensible and sound advice, which was pretty much my thinking. Just need to convince the other half that there is room in the garage for another bike.
