Well spotted. I guess in cornwall they have piskies and in Ireland they have leprechauns- in Mersea they have little biker midgets!!
I do have problems keeping up with him, my excuses are as follows.....
His bike has been highly tuned and mapped. Mine is completely standard.
He has no kids or plans for any, my wife is expecting, due in August. He takes more risks than I do.
It's a new bike and I'm struggling to get used to the new engine config as well as get over my new found fear of left handers...
I think you can get more fun out of riding at slower speeds when you are thinking that you could be landing in a ditch at any moment. It's quite exhilarating.

the excuses aren't for me, they're for the bike. It CAN beat the R1 it's just limited by it's rider lol
