Stickers?

Hmmmm? someone sure did like them some stickers! Sweet bike, I always think these bikes are under priced. So much nice kit on them.

I sold my mint 2005 low mileage (think it was less than 8000) R last year for 3300 in part exchange against my new T. was then up in dealership for 4300 The bike was mint and was featured in The MCC best bikes for sale section at the beginning of the Newspaper. Was listed for four weeks & I never received a single phone call. Here's a picture.

WTF there's bargains to be had oput there cos nsecond hand bikesn aren't fetching what they are worth. I just sold my 2001 blad for 2K cos I needed the cash.Look on e bay yer struggling to find one being advertised for less than 2.5K
As abuyer yopu should be chancing yer arm for a bargain cos to seel a bike now you've got to be realistic in yer expectations unless you want to hang on to it for the next 6 months.

Here's the blade, Mint 10.5K FDSH & I let it go for 2K.

Just looked on Millennium MC web site. My Tuono has now gone but my |Dorsoduro is still there and they took it on April 1st 2011. Think they gave me 4K & they are looking for £4995

It is a buyers market do not be fooled you can get a bargain (or should I say a bike at realistic current market value which is about 1k below what it shoud really be worth.)

Shame about your blade as I'm sure Roly would have been very interested in that, he's on about them all the time feels like he's ready to move up from his CBR6.

tricky just sold my blade the same as yours i got £2.5 but had to throw all the bits in, can ,baglux tank cover, power commander, seat cowl ect .it is a buyers market
last year i tried MCN never got a call, bike same colour as yours 12k miles. theres a lot around with 20-30k and they are trying for £3000 no chance !

I was offered 2750 last year turned it down as I liked the bike. In MCN for two stints of four weeks, one phone call. Sold in October for 2200 but never turned up for it. Had one of those western Union Scam type jobbies. I could well have held out for a few more hundred but was picked up by a German dealer who rang me one Saturday morning, turned up with cash in his hands & bike has now been exported to Germany. I couldn't say no, Some of you may know that I was made redundant on New Years Day and had been waiting for my Insolvency service redundancy payout at that time. He had picked up four bikes & was on his way to Anglesey then Liverpool for another couple.

Two Blades & a Tuono was a bit extravagant. Anyway looks like a nice day today. Think I'll dig out the HD helmet Cam I bought myself for Christmas and give it a try.

Don't know what colour he wants. He is a bit of a fussy bugger though :yes

going back to the tuonos mick as you have had the gen 1 + 2 what do you think the difference is between them not in looks but to ride as in power comfort ect

Think you'd need a back to back rides to tell the differance. Was not as genned up then as now & didnt know about recomended sprocket changes etc but remember the torque factor being decisive in my thoughts to get a new one, as I remember maybe a bit more lumpy but the new one was as well til I changed the sprockets. otherwise very similar as I remember.

nothing to choose between them then mick

Probably say not but have had a few lagers between April 2011 & Now wouldn't want to give a rose tinted glasses memoire of the Tuoldo. Do know I love the new one though & haveing sat on the new V4 at the NEC in November don't think I'd be in a rush to swap.

Hope you are back in employment T, its a crappy climate out there at the moment but Iam sure something will turn up if it already hasn't.
I had an almost similar experience with my last bike, I got what I initially thought was a scamming call i.e someone offering the asking price and willing to deposit the money in my account in advance of viewing the bike. Knowing that my bank details cannot be used to to phish out money without my permission, I passed my details on for the payment. To my surprise the money came through, I moved it between bank accounts to be sure and all was good. A couple of days later, someone pulls up to my driveway and picked the bike up to be exported to Holland. Apparently the weakening pound means our Euro buddies are bagging unbelievable deals in the UK. So don't completely discount those seemingly dodgy calls. Just have your wits about you.:yes
