HAve eventually got my strap for the Micron and it's now on the bike. Looks good.

Sod all idea what it sounds like yet as none of my batteries are fully charged etc. Got one on charge now but unless my Gabro chip arrives in post today i will probably wait until it does.

Quite a bit lighter than the stock can though i must admit.

I'd love to be able to tell you how it sounds...

Sadly the bike won't run LOL. sits there chugging away on full fast-idle, but won't actually fire, then it floods LOL.

Battery back on charge now, we'll come back to this tomorrow i think.

Mine`s on an optimate and today and last week it didn`t kick in on first stroke. It is cold though

Well that fixed it.... and i owe the Tuono an apology.

Put some fuel in it, fired up first time LOL.

And it sounds like.........?

Only left it running 30 secs as didn't wanna heat the engine and get any potential condensation issues etc.

LOUD is the answer LOL.

Like a bit Twin should.

Nice one weeksy - petrol eh? who'd have thought of it:crazy

Was obviously my own fault. I took bike out after i'd planned on laying it up as a mate wanted to try teh wifes SRAD. Did about 12-14 miles with the light on. As it never cut-out on the way back i just assumed there was fuel in it.

When i was trying last week i opened the fuel cap in case of some weird vacuum effect and gave it a slosh about and it was very quiet... it sort of dawned on me then :) :lol

Got my Gabro V5 race chip in the post today.

Just need to work out where to fit it now :)

Have a pair of chip pullers at the ready.

hi weeksy classic :yes

Bloody hell it's loud !!!!

All seems to idle nicely, rev nicely etc so i'm hoping there's no minor tweaks to do.

but bloody hell i'll be waking every bugger up LOL.

Weeksy, Here's me, a total terry ******* with engines etc and I spotted the biggest mistake, Ya had te put fuel in it.

If you need any advice on refuelling I'm ****** good at that bit.

I can also watch my brother in law and mate work on ma bike ****** well.

Don't hesitate to send me a pm

Oh! I have read the previous ones but banter is good for us all

My bike has a carbon can co. fitted. It came with a huge baffle which I chopped
right down so it appears to have a baffle for MOT/plod purposes but still makes
a great noise without being too offensive. The bike runs perfectly and returns
40mpg on a decent run, nearer 35mpg urban riding. Just waiting for the weather
to break like everyone else!!!
