Misfire after removing alarm

So I decided to have the Spyball Patriot 8510 professionally removed from my 2001 Mille, which went ok but now I've got a horrible engine misfire. The reason I had the alarm removed was due to it no longer responding to the key fob, despite following all the realignment instructions. Anyway, its all removed now but I'm left with the misfire.
Any ideas where to start looking to fix the fault? Could it be the wiring that the auto-tech soldered back together? Another thing I've noticed is I barely have to touch the kill switch and the engine will cut. Never normally use the kill switch so never noticed it before.

Cheers

Over sensitive kill switch making and breaking as you hit the bumps????. Does it misfire revving it at standstill??l

Hi Red, thanks for taking the time out to reply.
It was at standstill and on the move. I say 'was' because I've found the problem being the tilt switch. After the alarm guy and me had pulled a load of stuff about under the seat, the tilt swith was put back on upside down. Put it the right way up but bike still had a smaller misfire. Disconnected it altogether and all's well again. Course got the EFI indicator on the dash but thats expected. Time for a new tilt switch

Cheers

Bloody thing!! haha. In a fit of panic I've ordered a 2nd hand one off ebay. Cheap enough though, then checked mine with a multimeter and its all fine so I'll fit the new(ish) one and keep the other in the bench. It'll start pissing it down again when I'm ready to ride, you watch.

Take it back to the professional that removed the alarm

I removed the datatool from mine earlier this year , best thing I've done to it , feels about 10% faster

All sorted thanks Mike. Tilt switch was put back on upside down and surprised it ran at all. Took it for a spin last week and you're right, it does feel a bit quicker and more responsive at the throttle with the alarm removed. Might all be in my head but I'm back in love with the old girl again.
