Hi Folks,

Do you know were can I get a pair of mirror hole covers/caps?
I really don't like to use mirrors! but I don't like the hole that stays in the fairing.

Thanks in advance!

Type in "mirror blanking plates" into an eBay search and you'll get what your looking for. Not seen any specifically for aprilia but check dimensions and see if any will fit.

F*** me! £30 (and more!) for 2 small plates. Best get down the electrical wholesaler and ask about grommets. ;-)

I wanted to go this route a while ago and purchased some "carbon blanking plates" .... and what a pile of chuff they were! Shelled out all of £15 for em and I might as well have just cut some plastic from carton of milk and stuck em on.
Get what you pay for s'pose

Home Made

Thank you all for your opinions. Yes, there is almost nothing for RSV Mille and it's really expensive. I will do my home made ones or use small stickers (decalcs).

For sure I will not lose any horse power! :)

i was going to get some lazer cut out of ali or stainless but got let down at the last minute ..think they would have sold at 10 quid a pair

Lol I hate riding without mirrors, esply in a group, I like to check my mates have made it round the last bend ;)

... and always useful to look back at your elbows in case you forget which jacket you are wearing. lol

That was a (poor) 'joke' based on the fact that a lot of people complain about the standard mirrors on the Gen 1. I find they are actually not at all bad and a lot less prone to blurring than some bikes I've had.
