Mirrors for pre 2004 Milles

Run into two of other Milles today, which is rather seldom one does up here.

Both lads had replased the original mirrors with RS 125 2007-> mirrors.

Looks and design are identical, but the mirror arm is longer so you see more than just your elbows.

I think they are part numbers 852151 and 852152.ö

Have any of you tried.... searched the fleabay, but no hits...

They are identical to the standard Mille mirrors, but a bit longer.
So you actually see what is happening behind you...

I will replace my std mirrors with tohse when i find a reasonable priced ones.

Sounds good to me redrat, if they are identical to the standard ones. I've had enough of looking at my elbows although they are mighty fine looking:devious
Is it only the RS125-07 models that fit:dunno
Although I do like the idea of indicators in them if anyone knows of any that fit
 
I'm usually going too fast to take me eyes off the road in front to take a look in my mirrors. :doug

These extended mirrors from the 125 could prove useful when navigating through traffic in towns though. :thumbup

Jussi - just to be sure, do you mean 2007 models and later? If this works you're going to be Zone superhero of the year mate:thumbup
 
They other guy on Mille was working for the local official Aprilia importer and they had fitted to both bikes these mirrors with longer "shaft" the oem is 7 cm from the fitting to the mirror glass.

The RS125 are simewhat longer and the shaft is thinner. Yes if i recall correctly it was 2007 and later. He said that the mirror shaft was extended due some EU regulations related to e-mark acceptance.

I am defo gona get a pair when I find good price. I checked the price here in Finland it a round 60€/piece so quite a lot....

No off to sauna ;) after a 1.5 of ice hockey and some beer.....
 
Had to briefly visit in Budapest, but i had time today to get one mirror (they only had one side on stock at the moment).

beware!!!

hi...I fitted these mirrors to my 03 mille r along with a set of slightly higher wider bars...then rode to italy this june, can tell you the mirrors work a treat..
rode back from lyon in france to anglesy which was about 900 miles in a day even managing to stick to A roads right through france. didnt think my mille r would turn into a pan .......beware!!!
