Mornin' all

Just thought I'd say hello as I have been (over the last couple of weeks) and will be spending a bit of time here.

I spent a lot of time pondering my next (current) bike, my previous being a 2002 R1 which was used for commuting 120mi a day from November to February and managed to put me off road bikes for a while but as you will all know and agree, once you've had bikes (did a few years of motocross prior to the R1) you can't go for too long without one!

Being a big fan of torque and the noise of the v-twin there were really only two options Honda SP1/2 or RSV...gold suspension trinkets, OZ wheels and carbon made the decision to go Aprilia an easy one! :thumbup

Anyway onto my current and new to me steed; a 2002 Mille R with approx 6k which has been tucked up in a agarage in Spain since 2004.

I'm keen to find out exactly what I have - the Akra's are obvious and it also has a TFI piggyback ECU (ECU is probably being generous) which I'm told has been calibrated for the K&N filter and exhaust but I plan to get the fairings off this weekend and see what else might have been done, using RSVZone for reference.
Before the better weather arrives (this is only getting ridden when it's going to be fun and enjoyable!) I'd like to change all fluids, put on some fresh rubber and make a start on the 'standard' Mille mods: - starter solenoid, brown plugs, .40 jet in the box, additional earth strap etc etc

That's enough about me for now; I shall no doubt be on here to ask a million and one questions in the very near future!
