Hi Guys

Does anybody know where I may be able to source a 98-00 Mille STEEL tank from? (ethanol bloody expansion;( )

I have one mate, had a couple of dings in it which I started filling as a spare, its is basically black but will need a repaint

Thanks for the response golightly...im possibly in the process of locating one (metal), and awaiting a response from the seller although its quite expensive-well for my pocket anyway (single dad, part time employed)....however, in the meantime could you post a couple of pics of the tank please so I know what the job will entail-also what sort of price are you looking at?

Hi Chris, pics are here, I cant find the rubber mounts for the rear hinge but I have the hinge bracket, there is no fuel cap but the internalView attachment 6877View attachment 6878View attachment 6879 overflow hoses are in there and good.

Update...right so the tank is defo metal:thumbup ive paid for it and its being delivered before monday 22nd, I can hardly wait:grinning..hopefully no more looking on the internet to find Esso garages and paying their ridiculous prices for their premium unleaded (not that its helped like), every time i decide to go out for a ride somewhere.

Update-metal tank arrived with fuel pump, without fuel cap 100 quid all in....fit straight on...slightly different profile tank to the plastic piece of S@^t that was on originally, no connector issues at all....took the original fuel cap off my older tank, loosened the black thingy off on the bottom and the cap fit straight on...hey presto-no pissing about with ethanol issues any more..happy RSV owner again!....Many thanks to Redratbike for the info:thumbup
