milky oil on frame...serious?? :)

So I've had this issue for about a year and a half, knowing what had to be done and I finally got around to fixing it today. I have a Hooked airbox installed and after riding for a while when you shut off the bike it will leak oil through the breather filter on top of the plastic part of the hooked airbox and onto the frame eventually.

Sometimes it's milky colored sometimes it's not. The oil in the tank and the site tube isn't milky at all. Also when I drained the oil a month ago to do an oil change before taking it for a first ride this season, the oil wasn't of a milky consistency or color from what I could tell.

Any idea why this would be happening?
I fixed the leak by using a piece of clear tubing and running it from the breather hole on the valve cover, then into a "loop" shape and then to the breather filter. This now stops the oil from reaching the top of the tube and getting all over my bike. Someone suggested doing this on this forum.

So anyways, any thoughts? Should i be worried? Milky??? head gasket? I haven't had to add any coolant ever and the bike runs perfect and STRONG!

The bike had Stage 2 heads w/factory race cams installed at 12k miles. Made 132whp with the factory twin akra system so I hear from the previous owner.

It's most likely just mixing with condensation somewhere once it's reached the overflow tubes. If you run the bike with slightly less oil in it you shouldn't get as much/any coming into the airbox in the first place.

this is what I was thinking as well. The funny thing is the last three oil changes and especially this one, I did the oil change exactly as the manual states and got the oil level in the tube perfect yet it still overflows. Is this just an Italian thing or a dry sump thing or user error? Maybe I still need to let a little oil out?
I'm using a full synth 4-T racing oil this time which is red in color. So the oil in the tube kinda looks like a strawberry milkshake. Checked it again this morning and the oil and water has separated and the water was clear, so I think that's a good sign.

You need to check the oil level when the engine is HOT. A 10 mile run should do it, then stop, get off your bike and hold it straight up while you check the tube level. it should be about 2/3 rds up the tube. Any more and it will blow into the airbox.

I did this when I did the last oil change about a month ago. Although I had the bike on stands and let it run for about ten minutes. (so i didn't actually ride it...the manual says it doesn't make a difference. )
All the oil disappeared from the tube and then when I shut the bike down, very little returned. So I added some and that's probably when it got a bit overfilled.
