who cares ... oh. ok ... the midlands. Shropshire
No idea how many of you chaps get the MCN news letter thingy ... but I thought this might possibly be of interest

Personally my days of riding "head down arse in the air" sports bikes are fading fropm my memory ... but take a peek at this little tempter

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/N...mpaign=MCNMCN Newsletter 27 December 2011 (1)

Looks a bit heavy on the wrists ... and I think I can see influences of TRX, Ducati fechter, Bandit, Tuono V4

I'd certainly like one to sit beside (not replace) my Tuono.

What dya think?

I've always fancied a Triumph purely from the brit point of view but the speed triple has never done much for me. Something like that would be nice. handle bar risers might sort the job out.

Don't like the styling looks pretty crap and to be honest it's only a speed triple for that type of money u could get a custom frame from either spondon or gia engineering and have something a lot more special......

aye...there wiz article on they Engima chappies in last weeks MCN.......all very nice an fancy but nae doot will command a "fancy" price as weel...

Yer right Rex min....for that kind loot why buy an off the shelf job when fur the same money you can hae a true personal one off special.

Mate of mine had a 675 Daytona yrs ago with a similar riding position, bloody uncomfortable, but it handled very well.

As I've stated here before a m8 has 2012 street triple and he loves the little thing says it's the best handling bike has own and he has owned a few and I must agree with him it does handle unbelievable, but it's not made with the bigger rider (tubby) in mind hence why I'm getting a tuono which I've always fancied having.....and now with someone coming tomorrow lunch time for a look it could be a tuono ready for springtime.....:thumbup fingers crossed

a like it,,,,think it looks punk as ****,,,,atways had a hankering fir a triple, maybe cos its a brit bike,,,,but in sayin ahve ayways had a hankerin fir a brutale in aw,,, had a testy on wan last year,,,,fook me a wis mighty impressed :yes

I like it because it looks like a propper bike.

Propper frame, propper engine, loads of ground clearance, etc.

Some specials look like all the engine parts are an afterthought, like a washing machine with the back off.

Looks nice, probably expensive, looks a bit like a special made with parts from every european manufacturers storeroom.

It looks ok,.....I cant see many being sold though.

I can.

When Aprilia pulled the plug on the v2 Tuono, they left a vacuum (the v4 tuono is perhaps too intense & focused, whilst the dusoduro is just well.....a pimped poor mans attempt at a motard) in the market for a high performance do it all machine. Slap some risers on that Trumpet and I'd be giving it a serious look.
