Just a quick one to say not all coppers are:jack
Whilst out for a blat today went on my normal route and touched on 90 in a 30, I know it's stupid but it's always dead there. anyway, got further along and saw the blues and heard the twos so pulled over and quickly turned my bike off (negative baffles). He said they had struggled to catch me and that he saw me trying to get my knee down. Instant apologies and he explained he had an R1 so knew what it was like. Did all the checks over the radio etc. At this time it was proper 50p 20p time on the arseole. He then said that I was lucky that I'd never been in trouble with the coppers and he was only giving me a fixed penalty of £60 and 3 points where as the standard policy for Hampshire is anything over 68 in a 30 is instant court. He actually only wrote 45 on the ticket (I could have kissed him):inlove He even apologised when he asked the question "Do you consider yourself White British?":dunno
He said that if I didn't pay within 28 days then it would be court, now going to pay online.
My last points only came off on the 24th July :doh
Anyone found an understanding copper as they all get a bad rap on here?
