Just fitted a 45t spocket :eek so now running 15-45

Managed to get it on with OEM chain, the axle is as far forward as it will go, ideally could do with an extra link as chain is not as slack as its meant to be but OK for my back to back Cadwell 2 dayer next Mon and Tues then its coming off again.

Lets see how 30mm less wheel base will go. Im think power wheelies in first 4 gears :yes

Will report back.

Will be up for sale next week, selling after Cadwell (providing I dont crash (touch wood)).

42 was no good for Cadders IMO

A kitchen, a days worth of an electrician and a carpenter and sort out 3 bedrooms. Oh and a KTM 250 SX smoker for thrapping round my local MX tracks :thumbup. Will try and get it road reg'ed for some enduro too.

Will be back on 2 wheels for road when house is finished and sold which will hopefully be next spring, will be getting another Superduke or Superduke R most likely.

Id love a Tuono V4 but could never justify spending that much on a bike I would track or even just for the road TBH.

thatll be interestin yer first really big hand fu o throttle....

predictions anyone.....

Think you will find I have a quick action throttle too :yes

Predict away.

After I lost my GOPRO on an Enduro hol last year will see if I can pilfer a mates as there will be plenty of GOPROS there, will post up some footage if I do.

Know the feeling dan. Just had double storey built and know how much it all costs. Would like a 2nd bike myself but can't afford it at mo. Superduke r would be my choice of beast as a 2nd bike actually

Well I had a nice superduke and a motocross bike in the garage till I met my ex :banghead

Bought the house to do up and sell and need some funds to finish it off.

Glad im not the only one in the boat. :yes

I cant be without some kind of bike so intention is to use 2k for the MX bike and rest for the house, done most of the expensive stuff.

Then sell the house and by a bike outright! :thumbup

Fancy the 08 SDR as its got some more ponies, but still love the old 05-06 SD'd mad and addictive fun. SDR's IMO are to hard for the road (great on track mind).

will your chain not cut your exhaust in half with a big 45 on the back ?? :flip

What's standard on Gen 2 then - 16/40?

I have 16/44 on Gen 1 but I think standard tho is 17/42 and mine is perfectly useable. Still get 130 miles to tank also.

However if Gen 2 standard is 16/40 then 1 down 5 up would be slightly nuts :thumbup

As a comparison, in 6th @ 5000 rpm I'm doing exactly 80. Peeps post Gen & gearing and revs doing 80 if you know?

I'm sure someone clever could give me a formula to work it out etc. or a spreadsheet but I'm on holiday & I feel lazy. ;)

This is quite handy:

http://www.gearingcommander.com/

15-45 gives a theoretical top speed of 146 (but on RSVR) so aerodynamics may be slightly less.

57mph in 1st @10,000rpm

Dont know if this would be any good for road its merely a track sprocket.

Mate I wood love to be up for the crash fest with the boys, but am doing Sneterton , next week . Sherlock ,you be cairful over the mountin , with that set up Keep it low you are arsking for a chain snapige iff you get the back wheel off the grownd , Have a good one , ttfn .:thumbup:doug

Shame you could not pop up buddy. You know the piss up and banter is more fun than the TD anyway :yes

Have fun at Snetterton.
