After 3 weeks of the mille being in the workshop the mechanic at honda has drawn a blanc as to what the problem is with the mille :dunno, basically the engine has been took apart and its all in bits on his work bench :scared.
All the valve gear is was spot on, cam chain assembly ok ... so on and so on, his next task is to check the main bearings but he dont suspect that either.
He has had only one similar case where he had a similar problem on a bike where the piston expanded just enough to touch the head and valve gear and said he solved that by fitting a thicker head gasket :dunno.
He said if he has to replace everything he will do so for now its going to be a long road to recovery but at least ill have a totally rebiult engine when ever that happens.
Any mechanical minded peeps on here who know of any similar probs or what this mite be :confused..
