Its took a while, but its finally back together tested today.

Its a bit of a beastie, been totally stripped, replaced anything suspect, new bearings, seals, chain / sprockets, all suspension, brakes re-built etc.

Most of the plastic is original, only the bellypan & nose cone needed to be re-painted.

It feels totally different to a Tuono - its low, feels totally planted on the road, really smooth - wont be getting my knee down though.

Very nice. We've got a 750 and almost a complete bike in spares in the loft!
Including original exhaust, air box and carbs

I bought it originally when it was nearly new.

It's a J model, the last of the slabbies, only made them for one year, most are blue /white.

I have been the registered keeper of this same bike 3 times, hopefully it's a keeper now.

I used to keep it in the house years ago, one day the police called round to say it was going to get stolen, they had a stakeout in the house, I think they caught someone, but they would not confirm.

You all think a Tuono has side stand issues. This thing will punch a hole Tarmac on a warm day. All the magazines that tested them said they always expected to come back and see it lying on the road. Same design probs as a T and the base of the stand is tiny.

Superb Slabby, makes a change to see one in them colours instead of the usual Blue/White :thumbup. Rob
