have you fellas seen about the new anti biking cameras in the chip wrapper this week?
that fookin papers only ever full of doom and gloom.
just as im getting ready to buy an old fireblade for the summer,
you read about the new clamp down and it reminds me of why im fookd off with biking.mostly gunna be on roads near me too, baslow, ashbourne, matlock bath ect.
why cant the ****** cops leave us alone and get the **** oaps, mobile users ect off our roads?!

just dont go slow enough for them to see you, will we see you out ont blade this summer then? be good to catch up

get out of bed wrong side?

is there a "right" side matey? lol
yes, hopefully in the next 2 months a decent nick foxeye blade should residing here.
just summat cheap n cheerfull to get out on in the slightly warmer months pal.

"chip wrapper" :lolmissed your humour round here mate and glad your getting back on the road again, things must be picking up for you :thumbup

yea sprock, feelling alot better, more so than i have in a long while.

SPOOKY :ghostface

yeah mate,i regretted it the moment it rode off!!
but needs must at that particular time.
ill be back tho fella,as long as i have a bike for summer,i dont care about ewt else.

Alright mate....yep number plate recognition cameras, frame VIN number lasers, Genetic Finger Print taking on the fly....sooper, let's just ride eh??? All the best young man!

Apparently this is the way to do it: Wake up and stick a finger over one nostril and sniff through the other one. Then do the same on the other nostril.
Which ever nostril flows easier is the side to get out of bed.
This is the way to be sure of having good luck and a happy day.:thumbup

Oh, if one side of your bed is against a wall then you are shagged.:biggrin

Good luck:thumbup

And great to hear from you Biggun.

Get back on two wheels soon

lol b.s,ill give it a try, must remember sniff not blow tho or the mrs will be covered in snot and not best pleased lmao.
then there really WILL be no good side to get out of!!

my ride up the cat and fiddle and on to matlock completely fooked now by the look of it.

Just have to ride all the way in first gear playing tunes on the akrapovic

Good to have you back Big Fella. Burning question........why a Blade and not an early Mille?

i guess i reckon id struggle to get a good well looked after mille for 2k.
theres a fair few early blades for that price and below.
i just need a good reliable fast beasty that owes me newt and i can thrash its nuts off all summer.and ill have to keep it outside, round the back of my house under a bike cover as i want to use it all year round, not just fair weather riding, itll be my main transport,im fed up of sharing a car with the bride.
i love the look and sound of the mille, but they can be tempremental ect for all year round riding and leaving outside in the cold.
have milles dropped to the 2k mark now then for a decent un?

Bet you can find em for that price big lad, i would have thought a mille would have been better looked after than an old fireblade meself

cheers fellas, theres a couple of silver ones on autotrader for around £2400 as well.
may have to look into this a bit more.
was just a bit worried about finding a decent well looked after mille for that kinda price tbh.
so many folk that dont know how to look after these beasts and think theyre just like an il4.my old un when i got it had the wrong oil in it and was over filled with oil ect.
ive had a fair few old blades and for the cash they tend to be bomb proof, fairly quick and best of all,a big bike in stature, which i need lmao.
theres a few early 98/99 R1's now too at just over £2k.
just need a good reliable steed.

Do what...? I ride almost every day in the rain, snow and grit she lives out side EVERY night. I washed her once, about two years ago. She NEVER misses a beat. One new battery when I got her, and two solenoids. Nothing any other tool would need... oh and five sets of front pads, two rears and six sets of tyres....:devious

Oh and two sets of head bearings.... But then my blade needed those as well. :doug

You can also get away with pretty much anything on a mille. But on a blade the fuzz WILL chase you for doing 31 in a 30. :jack

lol,at the moment its no arms and sewn up pockets old pal.
me first £300 is goin into the isa today, looking at spending £2000 in time for mid summer.
so i think thatll kinda rule me out of a good mille.
im currently trying to find a 2nd job, part time,as well as my night shift to get more spendo.
then i can put more away, but theres fook all in the job department, even ****** part time ones ffs.
only want summat thats £100 a week ect.
nay mind, watch this space,i WILL be back on some form of fukn motorcycle!!
